Estate Office Administrator
We are seeking a skilled administrator with excellent IT skills to join our Land and Property team. The team include surveyors, a lettings manager, the building services and estate maintenance team. The role will offer administrative support to the team to help them effectively deliver the day-to-day management of the Estates property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration support for the Land and Property team.
- Booking residential, commercial and farm rent reviews and property inspections. Completion of all paperwork following an inspection.
- High level administrative support to the Head of Land and Property, including diary management and scheduling meetings.
- Main point of contact for managing, directing and dealing with incoming queries to the office via telephone, email and in person.
- Distribution of internal and external post for the Estate Office, ordering office stationery, and carrying out weekly fire alarm checks.
- Management of both hard copy and electronic archive files.
Skills:
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pick up new specialist systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a similar role

Burghley Park Golf Club Clubhouse and Membership Manager
Job Title: Clubhouse and Membership Manager, Burghley Park Golf Club
Reporting to: Operations Director
Type of Contract: Part time (job share), on-site, includes some weekends
The Clubhouse and Membership Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clubhouse, providing exceptional service to our members and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain memberships for the Golf Club. Manage the administration around memberships and annual renewals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, suppliers and partners to enhance the overall golf and membership experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to ensure day to day operations and events run smoothly.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote golf events, hospitality events and club membership.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in golf operations to continuously improve the clubs’ offerings.
- Explore opportunities to grow revenue and work with the Club Pro, Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to successfully implement plans.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance golf operations, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and industry standards.
Requirements:
- A strong track record of providing excellent customer care with high operational standards and attention to detail, preferably but not essentially in a golf club.
- Work with club captains and committee members to ensure a full competition calendar is organised, management of members handicaps, and competition entries.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a clubhouse, hotel setting or members club.
- Willingness to work almost entirely at the golf club, given the criticality of member and staff face to face interaction.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial management, and revenue generation.
- Show a high level of emotional intelligence to handle complexities of member interaction.
- Be adaptable with a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle customer concerns with professionalism.
- Passion for providing excellent service and creating a positive member and visitor experience.
