With over 600 listed buildings of mellow limestone including five medieval churches its pretty facades make it a popular spot for visitors, shoppers and film producers.

As well as historic places of interest, Stamford hosts various festivals and events, an Arts Centre and a Theatre. Nearby Rutland Water, the largest reservoir in England, is hugely popular for those wishing to explore the outdoors.
