Visitor Information: Season Dates & Planned Closures
The House, Gardens & Adventure Play are open for the main season until Sunday 1 November 2026.
The Gardens & Adventure Play will then reopen for two additional weekends: 7–8 November and 14–15 November 2026.
Planned closure: Please note that the House, Gardens, Adventure Play and Garden Shop will be closed for the duration of the Defender Burghley Horse Trials, from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 September 2026 inclusive. The Courtyard Shop, Garden Cafe and the Orangery restaurant will be closed from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 September 2026.
