Burghley's awesome woodland adventure play area Hide & Secrets is themed around William Cecil as the country’s first Chief Spymaster and features a series of fun-packed play zones that lead to the Hidden Towers.

Come and play!

Inspired by the distinctive architecture of Burghley House, the Hidden Towers play structure is packed with multi-level play, climbing walls, wobbly walkways, lookout nests and more.

Two enormous slides provide big thrills for little people and an awesome rope bridge across a deep and craggy gorge to reach a tree top lookout platform takes the mission to the next level.

Whispering funnels, code cracking games and secret tunnels will keep curious little spies busy exploring. Pick up your free Spymaster's Guide activity booklet on arrival.

Epic adventures for everyone

Not forgetting younger children, Hide & Secrets features a dedicated toddler and pre-schooler area with a mini slide and low level adventuring all in the same area.

The whole attraction has been designed with accessibility in mind. Wide pathways, sensory wall, accessible platforms in the lower levels of the towers and accessible lookout points across the gorge mean everyone can come and play.

So much to explore

Bug houses, butterfly banks, tunnels and dens provide a world of discovery that will enchant all ages. Take a look at the Hide & Secrets map to see the many adventures that await.

We loved the activity book and all of the moles to find. The adventure play is excellent and kept both our 3 year old and 5 year old occupied for hours!
