Victorian Parlour Games KS2

How did Victorian families spend their free time? In this lively and interactive session, pupils learn how Victorian families spent time together and explore the games that were enjoyed in homes across the country, including by Queen Victoria and her family.

Led by a costumed educator, pupils take part in whole-class and small-group Victorian-style games, including "Lord Bean" and a spelling game. The session focuses on family life in Victorian times and gives pupils an active way to learn about leisure and entertainment in the Victorian period.
