These reduced price tickets must be booked online in advance and are available for up to six people per household. You'll need to bring proof of eligibility on the day of your visit.

Each £1 ticket includes access to the House, Gardens and Adventure Play. Adults and children are £1 each. Under 3s and Carers visit for free.

Who is eligble?

Universal Credit tickets are available to individuals who currently receive one or more of the following:

  • Universal Credit
  • Pension Credit
  • Housing Benefit
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Income Support

Only one person in the household needs to meet the eligibility criteria. These tickets must be booked online in advance, and proof of eligibility must be shown at the entrance on the day of your visit. One booking per household per year.

What do I need as proof of eligibility?

You only need to show proof for one person in your household. Proof can be shown in one of the following ways:

To be eligible, you must have received a benefit payment within the last month.

We accept printed or digital copies, including documents shown on your phone. You may also be asked to present photographic ID. Our team understands not all visitors are comfortable discussing their benefits. Your information will be checked discreetly and respectfully at the Ticket Desk.
