Put on your walking boots and come along for an unmissable afternoon with Burghley's favourite gardening duo!
As autumn arrives Burghley's Gardens become a blaze of goldens and flaming reds. Join Head Gardener Joe Whitehead and Senior Gardener James Knight on a tour of the Gardens through the rich seasonal displays to learn about the history of the Gardens in autumn, the vast and diverse planting areas, the key autumn highlights plus all the winter tasks and developments planned for the months ahead.
Joe will be sharing seasonal gardening advice and insights. Hear his tips for retaining colour in your garden throughout the autumn months and why autumn is one of the best times for planting. And James will show you how best to create a vibrant, autumnal flower arrangement.

Your Autumn Wonders Day:
Flower Arranging Demonstration - Autumn inspired floral arrangement demonstration by James picked from the gardens –
Soup and Sandwiches - Warm up with a hot soup and a sandwich before venturing out with the Head Gardener for the afternoon.
Garden Tour & Talk - Head Gardener Joe will guide you around the beautiful South Gardens and Sculpture Garden, pointing out particular planting displays, discuss the stunning seasonal highlights and tell you about upcoming winter developments in the Gardens.
Visit to the Garden Shop - Feeling inspired? Pop into the Garden Shop to pick up wonderful autumnal items.

LOCATION | Burghley Gardens with lunch in The Orangery's Loggia
TICKETS | £45.00 per person, includes garden tour, talk, floral demonstration, soup and sandwiches
ACCESSIBILITY | The Gardens are mostly accessible to wheelchair users but please be aware that the paths are gravel and some of the open grassed areas are undulated without pathways. A accessible toilets are available next to The Orangery and at the Garden Café.
