Easter Family Fun
Hop in to Easter at Burghley with a basketful of family-friendly fun!
Join the hunt for hidden clues in our Easter Egg Treasure Hunt, get crafty with seasonal workshops, and enjoy adventures in the great outdoors. Plus, don't miss our costumed guided tours of Burghley House, where history truly comes to life.
After all the excitement, recharge with delicious treats at one of our family-friendly cafés or our restaurant before heading back out to explore Burghley’s beautiful gardens and grounds!

Easter Egg Treasure Hunt
Little ones will love hunting for hidden clues to solve the seasonal puzzle and claim an Easter Egg from Burghley's Easter Bunny. Grown ups can challenge themselves too - tricky questions for adults to answer are included along the trail.
Included with Admission Tickets and free for Annual Passholders.
Sunday 20 April, 10am to 5pm. Advance booking recommended.

Adventure Play
Pick up a Spymaster’s Guide activity booklet at Hide & Secrets Adventure Play and get ready to take on special spy missions with Cecil the Mole. Scurry through tunnels, crack the secret codes, find hidden moles and follow sneaky trails through the play area.
The fun continues for secret spies at Hidden Towers with two enormous slides providing big thrills and an awesome rope bridge across a deep and craggy gorge to reach a tree-top lookout platform taking the mission to the next level. Climb, clamber, slide and explore. Imaginations will run wild.

Easter Craft Workshops
Make sure to book on to one of our seasonal Craft Workshops during your Easter visit to Burghley. These creative sessions are included with an Admission Ticket and are perfect for all ages. Advance booking is recommended.

Beastly Boring Tours
Step back in time with our special family tours of Burghley House, where history comes to life. Join this costumed guided tour and discover the grizzly, gruesome, and fascinating stories of Burghley and the people who once lived here.

Outdoor Art Installation
Explore the historic South Gardens of Burghley House which have been transformed this spring by Botanic Tapestry, an exciting outdoor art installation created by artist duo Graphic Rewilding.
This unique art experience brings a bold new vision to Burghley's stunning grounds.
Open daily, 10am to 5pm. Included with Admission Ticket.

Family Friendly Food
Our cafés and our restaurant offer a great selection of food and drink with plenty of options for children. Stop at The Muddy Mole located in the heart of the Adventure Play action for takeaway lunch boxes and hot and cold drinks; drop in to the Garden Café for a light lunch or snack or tuck in to the tasty kids' lunch menu in the Orangery Restaurant.
