Linocut & Printmaking Workshop

Create your own hand-printed artwork in a relaxed, creative day at Burghley

Linocut printmaking is beautifully simple in process, yet capable of producing strikingly intricate and detailed designs. A print is created by carving a design into a sheet of lino, rolling ink onto the surface, laying paper on top, and then applying pressure to produce a print. Guided by artist and tutor Hannah Magrath, this relaxed, hands-on workshop is perfect for all levels - whether you're trying something new or honing your skills.

Learn how to transfer a design, carve into lino, and hand-print your own artwork using traditional techniques. Take inspiration from the beauty of Burghley House - from its striking architecture to the abundant gardens and wildlife of the parkland.

All materials are provided, and you'll leave with your own unique print - created at your own pace, with expert guidance throughout.
