A chance to make and create in our nature inspired craft sessions
This summer holidays join our Education team for a creative making session inspired by Burghley's beautiful natural environment. Using a range of materials and techniques our fun children's workshops are a great opportunity to try something new.
Dates and workshop themes:
Monday 5 August | Wire Dragonflies
Use different types of wire and tools to create a colourful dragonfly sculpture to take home. Please note, younger children may need a helping hand from parents for some elements of this session. Recommended for ages 7 to 16 years.
Monday 12 August | Design a Clay Tile - SOLD OUT
Get messy with clay and create your own clay sculpture taking inspiration from the beautiful natural environment at Burghley. Recommended for ages 4 to 12 years.
Monday 19 August | Living Sculpture
A fun session where you become the art! Head to the gardens for some physical theatre using your body to convey shapes and ideas. Recommended for ages 7 to 12 years.
