South Gardens Spring Opening
See Burghley's South Gardens in all their spring glory
Enjoy the magnificent seasonal displays in Burghley's South Gardens as the spring blooms give an injection of colour into the beautiful 28-acre garden.
Only open for a handful of weeks each year, don't miss this opportunity to visit the private South Gardens, designed by ‘Capability’ Brown in the 18th century and witness truly wonderful views of the lake, Lion Bridge and the Park beyond. Discover the beautiful Summer House overlooking the lake, the oak circle and enjoy swathes of spring snowdrops and nodding daffodils in the gardens.
The South Gardens open in spring to raise funds for local charity, Evergreen Care Trust.
The Evergreen Care Trust is an independent, not-for-profit faith organisation that has been at the heart of Stamford since it was founded in 2005. It works closely with local charitable groups, churches and schools, and together with other health care providers offers a full range of home care services for the benefit of the elderly and vulnerable in Stamford and surrounding areas.
