Spring Tour, Talk & Demonstration with Burghley's Head Gardener & Team
Put on your walking boots and come along for an unmissable afternoon with Burghley's favourite gardening duo!
With longer, brighter days and the warmth gradually returning, it's time to get out and start exploring. Join Head Gardener Joe Whitehead and Senior Gardener James Knight on a tour of the Gardens. Learn about the history of the Gardens and spot key highlights for the time of year.
Joe will be sharing seasonal gardening advice and insights, plus he will share more about what the Gardens team have planned as they head into summer. And that's not it... James will show you how best to create a vibrant, spring flower arrangement.
Event Itinerary:
Flower Arranging Demonstration - Spring inspired floral arrangement demonstration by Senior Gardener James picked from the Gardens.
Soup and Sandwiches - Warm up with a hot soup and a sandwich before venturing out with the Head Gardener for the afternoon.
Garden Tour & Talk - Head Gardener Joe will guide you around the beautiful South Gardens and Sculpture Garden, pointing out particular planting displays, discuss the stunning seasonal highlights and tell you about upcoming projects the team will be working on throughout spring and summer.
Visit to the Garden Shop - Feeling inspired? Pop into the Garden Shop to pick up lovely spring gifts.

LOCATION | Burghley Gardens with lunch in The Orangery's Loggia
TICKETS | £45.00 per person, includes garden tour, talk, floral demonstration, soup and sandwiches
ACCESSIBILITY | The Gardens are mostly accessible to wheelchair users but please be aware that the paths are gravel and some of the open grassed areas are undulated without pathways. A accessible toilets are available next to The Orangery and at the Garden Café.
