Learn how to make the most of watercolour techniques to capture beautiful details
Whether you're an accomplished artist or pure beginner, discover local artist Sandra Peck's fabulous watercolour painting days at Burghley.
Enjoy a visit to The Old Kitchen which is Burghley’s most evocative Tudor interior and where all the work for the lavish entertaining would have taken place. You'll have the opportunity to take photographs or sketch the room before returning to the Cheke Room to watch a demonstration of how to use watercolour techniques to capture beautiful details such as the old stone bread oven and copper pots and pans.
In this workshop offers a chance to watch lots of wet-into-wet watercolour demonstrations and learn beautiful, effective techniques. Have a go yourself, with Sandra on hand to provide all the help, what better place than Burghley for some artistic inspiration.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own their own watercolour materials. Alternatively Sandra can provide all the basic materials you will require for £6. To arrange this please contact us by email after booking.
Lunch can be purchased at the Orangery Restaurant on the day or participants are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
