Housekeeper

Burghley House is one of the largest and grandest surviving houses of the sixteenth century. We are looking for someone to join our Housekeeping Team on a permanent part time basis. The position will work with the Housekeeping Team to clean our luxury holiday accommodation, and twice weekly cleaning of offices in Stamford. The role will also include supporting the team in cleaning the public areas of the Estate during busy times and to cover holidays. 

Main duties

• Cleaning our luxury holiday accommodation, including, dusting, making beds and cleaning bathrooms
• Deep cleaning in the closed season
• Cleaning public areas
• Cleaning of offices

• A high standard of cleaning

Role specific details

Previous experience of housekeeping or cleaning is desirable however, full training will be given. A uniform will be provided. 

Working hours to be discussed at interview but will include Mondays all day, and two hours on two other days during the week for office cleaning. Cover for holidays and support during events will involve some weekend working and bank holidays.
