Seen on Social: Caleb Simpson Tours Burghley House with Miranda Rock

Burghley recently welcomed a special guest behind its doors as viral content creator and internet personality Caleb Simpson visited for a personal tour of Burghley House with Miranda Rock, Custodian of the House and a member of the Cecil family.

Known for his popular New York street interviews and Big Apple house and apartment tours, Caleb has recently taken his audience across the pond as part of a UK mini-series exploring historic castles, great estates and stately homes.

As part of the series, Caleb visited Burghley House, where he explored the extraordinary State Rooms, discovered some of the House’s fascinating stories and got a closer look at its remarkable treasures, guided by Miranda.

Still a much-loved family home, Burghley has been lived in by generations of the Cecil family since it was built by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587. Today, Miranda lives at Burghley with her family and oversees the House and Collections on behalf of the Burghley House Preservation Trust.

The tour offers Caleb and his followers a glimpse behind the scenes of one of England’s greatest Elizabethan houses, with Miranda sharing some of the stories, history and personal insights that make Burghley such a unique place for so many.
