Following the 2025 Defender Burghley Horse Trials taking place in Burghley Park, we are busy taking down the event site. To keep visitors safe during this time, some pedestrian routes through the Parkland are restricted until Saturday 20 September. An alternative pedestrian route is in place to provide access through the Parkland. View route information and map.

Burghley House, Gardens, Adventure Play, and all visitor facilities are open as normal. Please see below for full opening times.
