About this package
Who was Queen Elizabeth, what happened during her reign and what was it like to be part of her court? Step into the world of the Tudors in this exciting learning experience, where role-play, storytelling and hands-on activities bring history to life.
Meet Queen Elizabeth herself, explore the magnificent house built by her trusted adviser William Cecil and uncover the people, places and traditions that made Tudor England such a fascinating time. Along the way, pupils find out what people ate, how they entertained themselves and what life was like both at court and beyond.
Perfect for supporting learning about significant historical individuals, local history and life in Tudor England, this immersive day gives every pupil the chance to question, explore, play and join in - creating a learning experience they’ll remember long after the visit is over.
How the day works
This package includes four learning sessions, combining different activities, settings and teaching styles across the day. You can explore the individual session pages below to find out more about what each one covers.
We can welcome up to 120 pupils on each visit. To keep sessions engaging and manageable, your school group will be divided into smaller rotation groups of up to 30 pupils. The day will be timetabled so that each group takes part in every learning session during the day.
