From uncovering the secrets of the Gardens and getting creative outdoors to enjoying interactive storytelling and family tours of the House, Cecil's Summer of Discovery is packed with adventure, imagination and memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.
Every week throughout August brings brand-new activities, exciting ways to explore the House and Gardens, and plenty of opportunities to get creative and leave your own mark on Burghley. Come along and learn about Burghley's past and present, with surprises waiting around every corner.

Tickets | Admission to Cecil's Summer of Discovery is included with any Admission Ticket purchased or a valid Annual Pass. If you'd like to book for our activities in the House, please ensure you've booked tickets for the House, Gardens and Adventure Play.
Beastly Boring Tours | If you'd like to book on to one of our Beastly Boring Tours during August, each ticket includes a fun activity guidebook and all-day access to the House, Gardens, and Adventure Play, meaning you will also have access to the Cecil's Summer of Discovery activities.
