Children's Workshop - Chinese Dragon Dance
Experience the tradition and beauty of Chinese dance with our exciting dragon dance workshop
Join our professional dancer in a fun and interactive Chinese Dragon Dance Workshop. Taking place on the beautiful front lawns of Burghley House, children will learn a Chinese dance routine using a traditional Chinese dragon, parasols and fans. The workshop culminates in an exciting dance performance for parents including the Chinese Dragon Parade.
Workshop times and age groups:
9.30 - 10.30am | 5 to 7 year olds
10.45 - 11.45am | 5 to 7 year olds
1 - 2pm | 8 to 13 year olds
2.15 - 3.15pm | 8 to 13 year olds
A Treasures from the East workshop
Our Treasures from the East events are inspired by this year’s Treasury Exhibition and offer a chance to explore the fascinating skills and traditions of the Far East.
