Wild Wednesdays

Have fun learning more about the natural world around us

During our Wild Wednesday workshops, children can explore the great outdoors and be inspired by nature.

The recommended age for all Wild Wednesday workshops is 7 to 13 years.

Dates and workshop themes:

Wednesday 7 August | The Wonder of Trees
Come and discover the magic of trees and plants. Learn why they are so important to life on earth, how they grow and the purpose of their transformations through the seasons.

Wednesday 14 August | Brilliant Birds
Join us to learn more about our feathered friends and their habitats. This fun, family workshop will help you to identify different birds, learn about their secret language and find out how they fly, feed and interact with each other.

Wednesday 21 August | Owl Pellet Discovery
Prepare for surprise and intrigue as we take a closer look at owl pellets. Owls swallow their prey whole; by dissecting an owl pellet, you can see exactly what was on the menu! Please be aware this a messy session involving handling of organic materials.
